Your tent is a great investment! Protect it with the Stout Tent Advanced Maintenance Package. This package covers everything the standard package does + A LOT more! A thorough cleaning of your groundsheet, spot treatment on your canvas, re-waterproofing your canvas, lubricating your zipper, and more (see additional details below for the full list of what’s included).

Ship it to us during our designated Maintenance days and we’ll return it within 2 weeks, refreshed and ready for another season!

We provide maintenance for any brand of canvas tent or tipi! Price is valid for up to a 12 x 14 Wall Tent or up to a 5M Bell Tent. Please choose the “oversized” add-on for larger tents.

Maintenance is vital to the health and longevity of your tent, so Stout Tent has devised an advanced cleaning and maintenance package to help you keep your tent in top shape. Four times a year Stout Tent pulls on hands on deck and reserves our warehouse to clean and maintain our customers tents.

Simply send in your tent to our warehouse at the designated date (no need to send the poles), and our experienced crew will clean up your tent!

What’s Included?

  • Washing and Scrubbing of the Groundsheet

  • Re-waterproof Tent (3-5 Gallons of 303)

Cleaning your tent will take 10-15 hours of shop time. Customers should expect their tent to be mailed back within 1-2 weeks after the Quarterly Maintenance cycle is completed. Ex: Ship your tent to us in the week of March 12th, and you will receive it back at the end of March. If you send it in for maintenance in January-February, you will receive your tent back at the end of March.

Spring Maintenance: Send in your tents the week of March 12th

Summer Maintenance: Send in your tents the week of June 11th

Fall Maintenance: Send in your tents the week of September 10th


Didn’t buy a Stout Tent? Don’t worry, we can swap out cheap zippers and fix weak seams from other companies, in fact, over 50% of our shop work is completed on other brands of tents.  NOTE: There may be a delay if specific parts need to be ordered for an off-brand tent, these delays are avoidable if you send the replacement part needed with your repair.

Maintenance Package FAQ

Am I responsible for shipping? Stout Tent pays to ship the tent back to you after it has been serviced. You are responsible for the shipping in getting the tent to Stout Tent for service.

How long is the maintenance package voucher good for? The maintenance voucher is valid for 2 years from date of purchase.

Can I use my voucher multiple times within the 2 year period? No. The maintenance package is valid for one use only. Additional packages may be purchased.

What if the damage is extensive? Send it in, we will evaluate and call you with our advice and a work with you to create a plan for your tent.

How long will my repair take? Send in you tent during the designated Receiving Date and your tent will be returning in 10-14 days. Please view the calendar to see our Maintenance dates this year.
