What material is this canvas tent ground cloth made of?
Every footprint in our collection is engineered from ultra-durable, 180 GSM tightly woven polyethylene. This heavy-duty fabric is 100% waterproof, incredibly puncture-resistant, and built to withstand the high-friction environment of long-term commercial glamping setups and rugged backcountry basecamps.

Do I need extra stakes to secure the footprint to the ground?
No. We design our footprints with integrated webbing loops that line up perfectly with the existing stake points of your Stout Tent bell tent. You simply stretch the footprint out, stake it down using your primary tent stakes, and pitch your tent directly on top. This eliminates the need to pack or carry extra heavy hardware in your gear bin.

How do I clean and maintain my tent footprint after a muddy trip?
Maintenance is incredibly fast and efficient. Because polyethylene naturally repels mud and moisture, you can simply pull the footprint out, hose it off separately with a garden hose or power washer, and let it air dry in the sun for a few minutes. It folds down flat and packs away easily into its own included matching canvas storage bag.
