Setting up your Stout Tent Awning is simple. Follow these instructions to add a porch to your Stout Bell Tent or use the awning on it’s own as a shade tent.
In the Bag:
- 1 Canvas Awning
- 2 Bi-Folded Poles
- 8 Stakes
- 8 Guy Ropes
- 8 Sliders
1. Remove bell tent awning from canvas bag and unfold. Make sure you arrange the awning so that this piece is ready to slip on the A- Frame nipple on bell tent.
2. Begin with tying 2 guy ropes into loops closest to tent, directly to left and right of the loop attached to the A-frame entrance on the tent. You’ll want to stake these back behind two front tent guy ropes.
3. Tie guy rope to loop opposite the A-frame loop where pole will stand. First, stake out the guy line, then stick pole up through grommet. then adjust tension.
4. Now with the awning stable, continue to tie guy ropes onto other loops and adjust tension around the awning.
To Set Up Independently Follow above instructions, except that instead of attaching the bell tent, use awning to A-frame on
the second pole. You will need a second person to help hold the pole steady while you stake out the guy lines.
