The Pro Bell Tent Series

I love this tent! It's so well-built, spacious, and comes with everything you need. It can be set up solo with some effort, and it can be broken down easily to be packed up in its own transport bag. It is quite heavy, so I use a hand truck to move it around to its location. Looking for a tent for my new mobile glamping business, I reviewed every bell tent available. I'm so glad I went with Stout Tent! It is absolutely worth the money!

Just set up my pro series 5m. Very durable and spacious.
Quick and easy for 1 person set up. Looking forward to camping with the family, leaving the tent up for our 4 month winters As a base camp on our property.

There is one negative I've found with the 16' Pro Series bell tent... When the canvas doors are open, but the bug guard doors are closed, there is a gap where the zippers on the bug guard doors meet. The gap is about 1 square inch. It isn't a big deal for the bugs, but I'm concerned about snakes. I've had to stuff the gap with a rag to ensure that nothing can get into the tent through this gap. While this isn't a huge deal and I still really like my tents, I feel that this shouldn't be necessary on a tent that is as expensive as these are.

When I had a problem with the setup that I couldn’t figure out, even after multiple emails back and forth to the company, I got a call from Katelynn Stout herself. She FaceTime’d with me and helped me get the issues figured out. Customer service like that is hard to find these days! I’m so impressed that I’m already planning my next order (some accessories for my tents)."

I have been camping for many years and have gone through 6 tents in my lifetime. I recently decided I would like to try winter camping. Upon reviewing canvas tents for 6 months I finally made the leap and purchased the Stout Pro Series double wall tent. I have had the tent for a full year and have used it on 4 occasions, 1 being in the winter. I could not have designed a better tent and the quality is second to none. The tent handled perfectly in all kinds of adverse conditions; extreme cold, high winds (40-55mph), and hot summer days. This is the ultimate all season tent, my dream tent. What really separates Stout tent is its staff. I have called on several occasions; inquires prior to purchase, accessory purchases, etc. Each time the staff was able to answer all inquires. Furthermore, the staff was happy to discuss my applicable use of their products to offer additional advice to better my camping experience. It is clearly evident that the staff has a great deal of pride and passion for their products and services. If you love the great outdoors go with the best, Stout Tent. Whats funny is after all of my reviews I don't recall ever seeing a single negative review or anything less than 5 stars. I have never come across that for any product or service in today's online market.

great design and a quality product. i waited to get this tent (4M Pro) from this company after researching a few others out there in the same ballpark. this one is the slugger and hits the homer. got it set up and in use almost immediately. completely fit my needs and very sure will yours too, if what you are after is a very thoughtfully designed tent. they are stitched in China, but done so very well and all repairs, advice and support are 100% USA - and that is a very important element.

We have had our tent for a few weeks now and have been very happy with it so far. Looking forward to many years of use!

LOVE our new pro series tent! A few days after setup was complete, we had 2 weeks of surprise rain and hail storms - the tent stood up better than the ceiling of the house did! The quality of this tent is amazing and we have already used it for meals, parties and sleeping. We plan on using it long-term as an additional space for guests at our homestead in the mountains. So far, the guests have been fighting over who gets to stay out there. Best purchase, we are so happy with our new tent!
Also - amazing customer service - could not recommend working with the crew at Stout any more!

I ordered this tent in 2019, just before COVID hit, and have had the opportunity to use it twice since then (I wanted to make sure I had tested it out well before i left a review)! I have a bad back and wanted something that was going to be easy for me to put up with minimal help, and so far, this tent has been amazing. It's easy to put up, easy to store, and has been great to camp in. I have camped in cold weather and warm weather in it, camped solo and with a friend, and it's been wonderful in all situations. I'm happy I bought the 5M Pro Tent, since I do often share the space with other people, but it's been such a comfortable experience, and I'm looking forward to testing it out in the summer with the walls rolled up for ventilation. I highly recommend both this model and this brand to others. If I ever need to buy another, I'm going with Stout Tents!

I have owned my Stout Tent, 5M Pro for a year. It is on my mountain property at the top of a ridge. It has withstood massive windstorms, bears, kids, dogs, rain, snow... you name it. The customer service we have had since purchasing is out-of-this-world. I can't believe what they have done for us, when the wind has been a major challenge. Not to mention the rodents - every time I have contacted them, they have surprised me with their help and generosity in keeping my tent tip-top. I am SO glad I decided to purchase my tent from Stout!

We have owned our 5M Pro Double Wall for about 2 years now. We are a family of 5 with 3 little ones and this tent provides us a safe, comfy, dry, and roomy living space while camping. We have used it in improved campgrounds, the national forests of Missouri and Michigan, and plan to take it thru the Rocky Mountains this coming summer. The tent does not leak and holds up really well to weather. One evening it held up with little regard to a storm that came in off Lake Superior. If your looking for a canvas bell tent - this is the one.
We have recently added a wood stove to make our winter camping more comfortable. We also added some floor matting to it and even project movies on the side of the tent wall on bad weather evenings. The kids love camping with this tent, so for me - its money well spent.

Purchased the 4M pro tent and I’m very happy with the product. The quality of the tent and ease of setting it up are both very nice. I’m happy with the size of the tent, it suits my husband and I very well with sleeping space and room for a chair or two plus a small table.
We’ve only set it up in the backyard so far, but it did very well with a rainstorm and we enjoyed hanging out in it; looking forward to do some cold weather camping this winter!

My family and I have the pro series 5 M tent. We had our daughter’s pack and play inside and an air mattress and sleeping pad and had plenty of room. The tent is very easy to setup and take down. If we had to do it again we would of considered the double door tent because of the extra air flow it would of created during the hot day for my daughter napping inside the tent. Many people around the campground commented about the tent. We are very pleased with the tent and look forward to getting the awning for it and stove.

We purchased our stout tent to summer in and couldn’t be happier. The quality is great, the customer service was amazing with great communication. I highly recommend these tents.

We love this tent! It took just under an hour to setup and will certainly get easier with each time now that we know the process. It's spacious, the two doors allow for excellent air flow throughout, and looking forward to getting the awning which will provide additional shade on hot days. Unfortunately there is a slight rip in the canvas after the first use (a long weekend) however it's very minor and I'm working with customer service to see what can be done.

Overall we're very happy we went with this purchase!

This tent is a terrible. The canvas used is not meant for outdoor use - whether short term or long term. I had this explained to me by a local canvas company that has been in business for over 50 years. They showed me actual canvas that is supposed to be used outdoors, and it’s much more robust. Also, this company does not stand behind their products. If you run into any issue, they will ship you a tiny patch and leave you to fix the issue on your own. Forget about shipping it back to them for repairs, they want $660 for that and say it’s a long lead time. I’m not the first person to run into issues with this tent and this company. Save your money and buy from another company that uses appropriate materials and does stand behind their tents.

I love my new tent! Simple to put up by one person and has stood up to April storms very well!

Amazing tent! Very roomy. My family of 5 fit nicely with cots for everyone. We did a camp trip last October and the tent performed perfectly. There was some rain and everything inside stayed dry. Can't wait for summer to use it again for a lot of trips.

This tent truly is amazing. Purchased this tent for hunting camp. Set up was so easy. Snowed like crazy for 2 days, then a river of snowmelt under the tent, but everything was perfectly dry. We heated the tent with a small propane heater and stayed very warm with no condensation issues. Plenty of room for a couple of 6'4" guys and all of our gear. Best purchase of the year.

Lots of space inside these tents and well made. Plenty of space to move around. Very interesting bug guard design that does work well. Be careful not to touch the tent when it’s wet or raining out, otherwise you’ll get soaked.

I got a Winnerwell stove to go with it, but the triple wall pipe didn’t fit through the stove hole very well. Ended up ripping the heat resistant seam off so it would fit.

Wow. Just…wow. We have recently received our 5M PRO series. Everything about it screams “The Real Deal”! From the design to the materials to the build quality, I have never encountered a tent quite on this level. Stout’s customer service was easily reached and happily addressed all of our questions. The shipping was very prompt and it arrived all the way up here in Canada within the week. The first set up in our yard went very quickly and smoothly. The included instructions seem sparse at first, but the actual set up is quite intuitive so once I was underway they were actually all I needed. Once set up, the sheer size was impressive. The tear down and repack was just as simple. We can’t wait to get out and use it for some late season camping in a few weeks and look forward to using it for many years to come.

I had been thinking of getting a canvas tent for a while, and finally decided that it would be worth the investment. I couldn't have asked for a better tent. Even in heavy rain, and windy conditions it holds up great, looking forward to winter camping here in Vermont.

Super quality! Been using this full time as our living room (has our rug, couches, and wood stove in it). Super comfy and sturdy. We constantly get 50+ mph winds and this thing is a champ. Been through several rain storms, as long as the guy lines are tight no problems.

WOW! Where to start? I guess at the beginning. I contacted the best customer support I've used in decades with questions about customizing my new tent. They were extremely helpful and willing to do just about anything I could want from them. They really care about their product and those that wish to purchase it. Seems like I got either an email or phone call from just about everyone there with great ideas and helpful tips. The tent? I purchased the Pro and honestly I couldn't have chosen a better tent. I am a senior citizen living out my life's dream of living free which for me means living in the forest as part of nature. My new tent goes a long way towards making that very comfortable. It is so BIG! Plenty of room for all the things I need. The quality of the materials used is second to none. I did inspect every inch of my tent and their are no flaws anywhere. I want you to know that I have disk problems in my lower back which prevent me being able to do a lot of strenuous things butI put this tent up all by myself with very little problems. The people at stout tent were nice enough to send me an extra bag so I could split the weight by placing the ground sheet, poles, and stakes inone bag and the body of the tent in the other. I have an extra step of putting the ground sheet back together with the tent body before erecting it and it still doesn't take long at all. I love the simple design I look forward to this journey in my life and thanks go out to everyone at stout tent for helping make this possible for me.

I setup our tent on a mountain at 3200 feet elevation. It has been up for about a month now and doing well. The canvas is pretty heavy duty. I got the 5M and think it's a good size for two adults and a kid. You could fit more people in there but if you like a lot of space, it's perfect for a small family. Recommend.
